Video Link eX is a complete software product that reconginzes all video devices connected to your computer.

What type of Camcorder will Video Link eX! Support?
Video Link eX! Will support any digital camcorder connected to the firewire/USB port. You could also view analog camcorders when they are connected to your computer's composite video input. Furthermore, Video Link eX! Will also support any webcam connected to the USB port.

Will Video Link eX! Give me all the features I used to get with the original software such as Zoom in and out and focus?
Video Link eX! Will allow you to use all the features that are compatible with the device. For example, with a camcorder connected to your computer by Firewire, you can zoom in and out as well as focus the lens. With a TV Tuner, you can change channels, watch closed captions or even watch TV full screen. Video Link offers exceptional flexibility.

Can I copy my DV tape to my hard drive?
Absolutely, you can choose to copy the whole tape or just a portion of the tape. In both modes, Video Link eX! Offers a rich array of features to assist you and make your task at hand faster and easier.

Can I use Video Link eX! As a VCR?
You can record live TV to your hard drive and even schedule up to 100 events. Video Link eX! Allows you to record from your TV tuner, your camcorder or webcam video.

Can I control the quality of the recording to extend my available recording time?
Yes. Video Link eX! Allows adjustments to the video quality of your recording to increase available disk space. By modifying the record settings, you can either opt to maximize the video quality or sacrifice some of the video resolution for reduced disk space requirements.

What format are the Video Link eX! Recorded clips and snapshots saved as?
Video Link eX! Saves the video clip files as a WMV files or BMP files for the video snapshots. We even offer a BMP to JPG conversion tools to compress the pictures and make them ready for web publishing.

How many devices will Video Link eX! Support?
Video Link eX! Will support up to seven video devices connected to your computer. It will recognize any video device whether it is a digital or analog video.

Can I stream the output of Video Link eX! Through the Internet for remote monitoring from my webcam?
No, Video Link eX! Is a software package that is only used locally. However, we do offer software to perform just such a task. Tele-Cap will allow you to stream the output of your TV Tuner over the Internet and Tele-Cam does the same to your camcorder or webcam. Of course, these products offer the same quality and reliability you will come to expect from Televiewer Systems Ltd.
